Submit an .STL, .STEP, or hand-dimensioned engineering sketch directly through our interactive portal.
Choose between high-strength thermoplastics (PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA) or ultra-detailed photopolymer resins.
Parts undergo dimensional inspection, support removal, and post-processing before immediate dispatch.
Have a broken machine part, legacy hardware component, or physical sample with no digital CAD file? We utilize high-precision blue-laser 3D scanning to capture complex surface geometries.
Marwan Hashem is a mechanical engineer and the founder of Fikra 3D, bringing a rigorous engineering approach to digital fabrication, rapid prototyping, and industrial metrology. Holding a Bachelor's and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, USA, Marwan combines deep academic fundamentals in mechanical systems with world-class industrial experience in product design and fabrication.
Prior to establishing Fikra 3D, Marwan built an extensive engineering career as a Sustaining Mechanical Engineer at SLB, USA. In this role, he spearheaded the end-to-end design and fabrication of complex mechanical hardware products from concept to commercial deployment. His work at SLB encompassed advanced CAD modeling, precise material selection, functional prototyping, and rigorous verification testing.
We accept .STL, .STEP, .STP, .OBJ, and .3MF files. For reverse engineering, you can bring physical parts or dimensioned hand sketches.
For FDM printing, we recommend a minimum wall thickness of 0.8 mm (1.2 mm for structural loads). For SLA resin, feature sizes down to 0.4 mm are achievable.
Standard orders are completed within 24–48 hours. Express same-day production is available for urgent engineering prototypes.
Yes! Large assemblies are split into interlocking CAD components using alignment pins and solvent-welded for maximum joint strength.
